An Event Designed for Breath, Not Just an Occasion
Set at Remal Resort in Wadi El Natrun, this retreat brought Lord and Queen by Lord together around one idea, rest as something worth designing for, not rushing past.
Every touchpoint, from arrival to sunset, was built as a small ritual rather than a scheduled activity, giving guests permission to slow down at each stage of the day.
Pimula led the full brand experience, from concept and branded elements to on site production and content capture across the retreat.

01. The Challenge
Turning a Brand Retreat Into a Genuine Pause, Not a Photo Op
Branded retreats can easily tip into performance, curated moments built for content rather than guests. Lord and Queen by Lord needed the opposite, an experience that felt calm and considered even without a camera in the room, while still carrying the brand clearly through every detail.
The challenge was designing a full day of touchpoints, arrival, rooms, brunch, workshops, sunset, that each stood on their own while building toward one consistent feeling, rest as something intentional rather than accidental.
02. Behind the Scenes
A Day Built Ritual by Ritual
The retreat opened with a Make Your Tea station, guests choosing their own herbal blend and pouring it slowly into wooden Lord x Queen cups, setting a slower pace from the very first moment rather than a standard welcome drink. Each room carried the theme further, a branded Lord x Queen dreamcatcher on the door as a small promise of rest and clarity, and a wooden Lord x Queen box waiting inside filled with a hair brush, essential oils, a jade roller, a sleeping mask, a candle, and a handwritten note, framed as a ritual kit rather than a gift bag.
Brunch followed in a space styled with warm textures and flowing branded curtains, moving into a clay and pottery workshop, a product wall where guests chose their own skincare essentials, and yoga at sunset wrapped in branded blankets. The day closed around the fire with branded notebooks in hand, herbal tea, quiet conversation, and stargazing, letting the retreat end the same way it began, slowly, and on the guest's own terms.
